Remind me he is only 22 months old

Yesterday I drove home from work and pulled into our driveway. My husband was playing basketball (shooowttwo...as Jeb calls it) who is 22 months old. I realized Chad had left the baby at the baby sitters becase he only has one real functioning hand/thumb right now...( he played with the chain saw, and the chain saw won)
I leave my keys in the car seat and walk across the street (yes that was foreshadowing). When I walk back up the driveway I hear the sound of my car radio on and that "dingdingdingding"noise...
Jeb had opened the door, climbed in the front seat, picked up my keys, grabbed the correct key (now I have about 7 to choose from) and put it in the ignition, and TURNED THE BATTERY ON. If he had been a little stronger he could have turned on the CAR!!! AHHHH. what a scary thought. Yes his dad was watching him the whole time. He said he just wanted to see if he could do it. Well now he knows.

Uggh! I've recently been telling Jackie that, "You know, I think Jonathan is going to be the kind of kid that figures out how to open up our front door, head to the car, open the car door, hop in the seat and start the engine when he's just 2 years old". He's just 16 months old right now; based on what Jeb is showing you, it looks like I might need to prepare for this a bit sooner than I thought.

Look at it this way, though -- at least Jeb's too small to coordinate pushing in the brake and shifting out of Park all at the same time... right?

But on the other hand, have you heard about the new luxury cars that you don't even need to turn a key to start it? You just need to have the key "in your pocket", and then you simply press the "Start" button on the dash. Yikes!
