Trying to keep up with his brother...
Those are the words of my Doctor...
OH JOY!
I am 27 weeks along with my pregnancy, and boy do I feel like I'm Pregnant. I know I am as active as before, but I in a different way. Chasing around my 16 month old this time around, is much different than my designated walks in the park during my last pregnancy. I dont get "designated" time anymore. It is all controlled.
Yesterday I had my doctor appointment. The baby's heart rate was 150 (excellent). The doctor told me that at 37 weeks he will do an ultrasound to see how big this baby is going to be. When he measured my stomach he just smiled and said it looks like this boy is giong to try and keep up with his brother.
With Jeb being 10lbs 5oz at birth I am afraid I may be headed for a C-section. The doctore told me if this baby is atleast 10 lbs and i want to go ahead and have a "Normal" delivery he would alow it......the whole time my head is shaking letting him know that there is NO WAY i can put myself through that again.....yeessssk!
But we will see. Maybe this one will only be 9lbs....I think i could handle that! Maybe...I dont deal too well with pain after that first delivery.
Keep me and the baby in your prayers.....Healthy baby, peaceful baby, and a boy that loves and honors God!
that is my desire.

We will continue to pray for you and your three men. :-)
And, you know, Jackie has had 2 c-sections and has been very happy with them, so don't worry about that aspect of things, if Baby ends up being a biggun'.
Hi Aim - Just keep in mind they told me Gavin was "at least" 9 lbs at my 38 wk ultrasound (by that time his head was too big to fit on the screen in one shot, so they pulled in another doctor and took their best estimation guess placing pics side by side!) and he ended up over 11 lbs! Anyway, I don't say that to scare you, just to tell you a C-section is ok if that means a healthy baby and a healthy you! And after FOUR I can tell you this was the best experience of them all, much inpart due to (much prayer &) new pain management techniques. Ask your Doctor about using Duramorph (instead of a morphine pump) - where they give you morphine right along with your spinal at time of surgery - if it looks like your headed the csection route. It was so wonderful for me - I was able to be much more apart of this babys first & second day than with the others.
All power to you...have fun... ha lol...
