Time for the Fair!
Last night we went to the Mid South Fair! We had a really good time. The weather was nice, warm and breezy with blue skies. Jeb loved sitting on Chad's shoulders- he waved "Hi!" and "By" to everyone who walked by. He tried to pet the sheep, goats, and the bunny- he seems to be pretty brave when it comes to new adventures. The High light of my evening was watching Chad, Dad, Mom, and my niece Stevie ride the Zippin Pippin! Now you need to picture my mom trying to convince herself that she can handle a roller coaster at her age. Chad said the ride would not have been the same with out my mom behind him. He said the whole time she was saying..."OH! Jesus, Oh Jesus!....." Chad said you couldnt help but laugh, Dad was trying to hold her neck so she wouldnt' get whip lash, and his niece stevie was laughing and screaming--she was soooo excited.
Another Highlight to our evening was hearing Brother's Keeper. Well I must admit I don't really know much of their music BUT my brother-in-law got to play back up with them! Kevin or try this sight- it's an old picture of him! Brother's Keeper will be releasing a new album in October and have recorded one of Kevin's songs! This song I know and really like. It's called Passion. It was one song that the crowd stood up for last night....ok so it was a small crowd....but they still stood up and cheered for the song.
And last but not least on our way out of the fair we all enjoyed Amish Ice cream. this is my favorite booth. Every year they serve the bowl of soft home made icecream, it's always real sweet and creamy. This year I added caramel to it! (I DONT need the extra calories but it tasted soooooooo good!)
So that was our night---wish you could have joined us!
